Your initial consult is an opportunity for you to sit down with
one of our qualified Nurse Practitioners and discuss whether or not
hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is right for you. During
each consult our nurse practitioners will:
Review Your Hormonal Signs and Symptoms
Discuss Family and Medical History
Educate You on HRT Options and the BetterYou Difference
Explain the Benefits and Risks of HRT
Order Appropriate Blood Work
Before Your Consult

For your safety we require all patients to have physical
exams and appropriate diagnostic tests yearly. These exams
reduce the chance of any health risks or complications going
unnoticed. Because of our commitment to safety, it is
recommended to complete these exams before your initial consult.
Having this information will give our Nurse Practitioners a
more complete picture of your medical history maximizing your
visit.
For Men we ask that you have had a complete physical with
prostate exam within the last 12 months. For Women we ask
that you have a Well-Woman exam with a pap and mammogram within the
past 12 months. If you have copies of these reports please
bring them with you.
Each consult is confidential and designed to help you learn
more about your options. Whether you decide to begin the
